Images, reviews, ratings, and source policy

openARTlas uses rights-conscious media and source handling. Exact venue images, artwork images, and Wikimedia Commons files are preferred. No fake representative venue photo should appear as if it were an exact venue image.

Images

Allowed sources are official reusable venue media, Wikimedia Commons files with metadata, OpenStreetMap image tags where reusable, UNESCO public dataset records for site facts, and original openARTlas marks and icons. Empty image links and unsourced artwork thumbnails are not allowed.

Ratings

Ratings and review signals are accepted only when openARTlas has the right to use them. The public UI shows the openARTlas score. Third-party review links open external pages and are not copied into openARTlas unless a permitted data arrangement exists.

Corrections

Rights holders can request correction, attribution update, removal, or replacement by emailing torsten.sauter@icloud.com.
